pH is a measure for the hydrogen ions concentration in the water you drink or food you eat. Alkaline water with a pH over 7.0 has a higher concentration of negative ions. The body’s natural pH is at 7.4 but this is often lowered due to the consumption of acidic processed foods such as dairy, sugar and red meat. Naturally alkaline water with a stable high pH helps prevent this and keeps your bodily functions running smoothly.
Total Dissolved Solids or TDS refers to the total quantity of minerals, salts, metals, cations or anions dissolved in water. The higher the TDS, the less water we absorb as sediments are left behind. Artificial alkaline water is water which undergoes human and mechanical intervention.
